arise

happy tuesday, friends!  how are your weeks going so far?  mine has been hopeful. 

the art fair on sunday was such an encouraging time.  it was great to see other artists' work, to connect with people, and, honestly, to be reminded of why i'm doing all of this - sharing the art i create with others.  sharing the truths God has tenderly spoken to me.  and realizing others need to hear them, too.

i want to share my most recent piece of art with you:

i really love this piece.  it speaks right to the heart of where i am right now.  things have been pretty difficult over here the last couple of weeks - dealing with a lot of strong emotions and grief.  i'm clinging to hope and truth with all the strength i have in me.  God keeps reminding me that, though i may not feel like it, i'm precious to Him.  He's not going anywhere, and He won't give up on me.  friends, today is a new day.  and i am new with it.  and so are you.
